The New York World
The New York World focuses on producing data-driven investigative projects.
There’s an increasing interest in data journalism and how news organizations can analyze data to find stories that would otherwise go unnoticed. The New York World seeks to tap new data sources and utilize innovative techniques, often in partnership with other news organizations, to find stories that deepen public understanding of the issues facing New York.
The New York World is published by Columbia Journalism School, and named for school founder Joseph Pulitzer’s groundbreaking newspaper of the same name. Our reporters are graduates of the Journalism School, on year long post-graduate appointments.
